My husband and I would like to take a moment to tell you about our recent experience with Vredevoogd Heating. We called you on October 12th because we had no heat; you had a service man at our house by 8 am on the 13th. After a thorough investigation we were given two options, repair our 50 year old furnace... or put in a new one. Well, we really hadn't planned on a new furnace that week, but when we put a pencil to it, it was the logical course of action. You walked me through all the different options, we measured and talked, you talked to my husband, you even had an electrician here within the hour to assess the situation, plus, you lent us electric heaters to get us through the weekend until we could install on Monday. We scheduled an appointment for 8:00 am on Monday, October 16; your installers were here punctually, in white shirts no less. They discussed what would happen during the course of the day and we left for work...
My husband came home about an hour before me, Dave and Jason were still here just finishing up. They went over the thermostat with my husband, and, what had been done during the day. Imagine my surprise when I came home and you couldn't even tell they had been here, there was not one shred of evidence, except a shiny new furnace, I think the basement was cleaner than when they got here in the morning.
In our discussion of the job done, my husband said he was very pleased with the fact that you were so informative and accurate in all stages of the "furnace event". It is not unusual for companies to be less than forthright when they are dealing with women, never once was this the case with Vredevoogd. We would gladly recommend you and the company to anyone we know that would need furnace services, you met and exceeded our expectations, and we would like to say thank you very much.

We are happy to have this opportunity to "thank" Vredevoogd Heating & Cooling at this time, and to say we are pleased with the installation of our new furnace and water heater. It was done professionally, neatly, and "in one day." Eric and Tom, the installers were courteous and knowledgeable of what they were doing. When I say "done neatly", they both wore shoe covers on their shoes and laid drop cloths on our stairs and floors. No mess at all, it was a pleasure to let them come into our home. Excellent working team!
Randy, our comfort advisor was great. He explained everything after his walk through our home and told us what we needed, and, went over the whole process with each different furnace and let us make up our minds. There was no pressure or annoying phone calls. He is like a good friend, being very honest and straight forward, and concerned for us. We truly appreciated that very much!
We will sincerely recommend Vredevoogd highly to our family and friends if they are in need of a furnace, water heater, etc... Good people to work with. We also received a $25.00 referral check - for referring a friend for a new furnace.

Having been a salesperson all of my working years, I enjoy being on the other end of a sales pitch just to observe the method of presentation for product and price. You started with a complete observation and necessary measurements of the existing equipment, both the furnace and the air unit outside, as well as a room to room check on the floor and wall return registers. We were impressed with the total presentation that started with a flip chart of satisfied customers, and information about you, the company, and finally, the brochures that gave us a choice as to the variety of units available and the benefits of each. You followed this with a complete list of all the new connection and extras that went along with the price package.
Our original furnace and air unit were installed by Vredevoogd in 1988 and we have had inspections and service by Vredevoogd for the past 18 years. We have always been impressed with the service people as they all made us feel very comfortable with them (almost like family), as they came each year for our maintenance checkups. We felt that same way with you (Randy) and also Scott and his installation partner. The installation was very neat and clean. Other than the size and looks of the new equipment, it would appear as if no one had ever been here.
We did have a competitive price that was a little less money, but as we reviewed the sales presentations, the indications of all the new connections and attachments, as well as feeling so comfortable with past experiences from Vredevoogd, there was no question as to our choice.
I am the President of a condominium association. As a result of your continuing fine service and installation, I will not hesitate to recommend Vredevoogd Heating & Cooling to any condo unit requests that I may receive.
