Responded to no heat callback following recent igniter replacement. Upon arrival, confirmed unit attempting ignition sequence but failing to establish flame. Customer reported observing sparks in inducer compartment area. Inspection revealed evidence of electrical arcing and burn damage on interior cabinet surfaces near igniter assembly. Corrected igniter alignment and secured mounting to manufacturer specifications. Verified proper clearances from cabinet surfaces and grounding points. Cycled unit through multiple heating calls to confirm proper ignition sequence without arcing. System now operating normally with consistent flame establishment and no evidence of electrical discharge.
