Getting to Know Scott
How I Got into the HVAC Industry
After spending a year in college, I found that I preferred the hands-on challenges of the construction industry over classroom learning. That realization led me to Vredevoogd, where I began my career as an HVAC Installation Technician.
My Time at Vredevoogd
For the past 23 years, I have worked in many areas of the trade, including new construction, add-on and replacement, and service. Along the way, I also discovered a passion for training, mentoring, and leading my teammates.
My Transition to Leadership Roles
As I gained more technical experience, I moved into leadership roles to help improve how we serve our community. I have worked as a Service Team Leader, Service Manager, and Operations Manager, which has given me a comprehensive understanding of how a successful service organization operates.
My Current Focus
Now, as Operations Director, I use my years of hands-on experience to lead our team. My focus is on providing excellent customer service and top technical quality.
Personal Life
I grew up in West Michigan and love experiencing all the seasons here. I spend a lot of time outdoors mountain biking, hiking, camping, and boating. Outside of work, I enjoy being with my wife, our two sons, and our Husky, Rogue.
